Scriptural Foundation
- Leviticus 19:32: “Rise in the presence of the aged, show respect for the elderly and revere your God. I am the LORD.”
- Psalm 92:14: “They shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be fresh and flourishing” (NKJV).
- 1 Kings 12:6: Solomon sought the expertise of older men to make important decisions.
By pursuing these goals, we aim to empower older adults to continue serving the Lord and making a positive impact in their communities.

Vision
To innovate and deliver services that meet the changing needs of older adults, while engaging the community to Reimagine Aging by empowering older adults.
Our major purposes are:
- Determine needs and interests: Identify the needs and interests of older adults within the congregation and community.
- Foster a sense of value: Ensure older adults feel loved, appreciated, and vital contributors to the body of Christ.
- Provide opportunities: Offer service, self-enhancement, spiritual enrichment, study, and socialization activities that promote the well-being and engagement of older adults.
Mission
The senior adult ministry’s mission is to empower senior adult members to continue serving the Lord by providing opportunities for:
- Missions: Utilizing their gifts and experiences to serve others.
- Ministry: Engaging in various forms of ministry and service.
- Worship: Participating in worship and spiritual growth activities.
- Prayer: Deepening their prayer life and connection with God.
- Fellowship: Building relationships and community with others.
- Spiritual growth: Continuing to grow in their faith and relationship with God.
- Teaching and mentoring: Sharing their wisdom and experiences with others.
- Giving: Contributing to the mission of the church and serving others.
By pursuing these goals, we aim to empower older adults to continue serving the Lord and making a positive impact in their communities.
