About Us
Meet our pastor
Pastor Jarat, Senior Pastor of J.L.C worship centre has been called to serve God and to reach out to those in need of God’s eternal love. His calling was revealed to him at the age of 12.Thirsting to fulfill this calling he was mentored by many men of God which led to him becoming active in some leadership aspects (Sunday school, youth and band) of church ministry. The thirsting for bible insight grew stronger over the years which led to him graduating in 2006 at Rand Afrikaanse University and AFM Bible College holding a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology.
In 2006 J.L.C worship centre was founded and in 2008 he was officially ordained by Apostle N. Chaka and Pastor Jairus Silas as senior Pastor of J.L.C worship centre. On 13 October 2007 he was joint in holy matrimony to his wife Adilene Govender. Adilene formerly from the city Nelspruit received Christ as Lord and Saviour in 1995. She received her mentoring and biblical teaching from her spiritual father, Pastor Manfred Erdmann at Christian Family Church. She too was active in many aspects of church ministry. In 2003 her eyes opened to different cultures when she spent a year in Korea as a teacher. She came back inspired to make a difference; it’s when she was united as one with Pastor Jarat. God has blessed them with three beautiful children, Mikel, Reuel and Arabel.
Their vision is to be a people of a difference giving life to the broken hearted, sick, lame, underprivileged and to the lost, teaching them the right from the wrong and establishing them in God’s word.

About JLC Worship Centre
Welcome to JLC Worship Centre! We’re a family-oriented church dedicated to being a Home, Hospital, and School for everyone who walks through our doors. We believe in the overwhelming and eternal love of Jesus Christ and invite you to experience it with us.
Our vision, inspired by Ezekiel 44:23, is to be a church that makes a difference. We aim to establish God’s people through His Word and the work of the Holy Spirit, bringing life to the brokenhearted, sick, and lost. We teach the difference between holy and unholy, helping people discern between clean and unclean.
JLC Worship Centre started in 2006 with just three families meeting in a home. God has since grown us from a garage to our own building, seating about 250 people. We’re trusting Him for even greater increase as we continue to make a difference in our community and beyond.
We invite you to join us for our Sunday celebration services at 9:30 AM. If you’re in the Lenasia South area, we’re happy to provide transport. We’d love to meet you and hear your story!
Our faith – what we believe
The Bible
We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible and authoritive Word of God. We believe that there is one God eternally existent in three persons: God the Father God the Son God the Holy Ghost We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus, in His virgin birth, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory. We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ
The Holy Trinity
We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation. We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer. We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, who indwells the Christian and enables him to live a holy life. We believe in the resurrection of the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.
The Blessed Hope
We believe in the ordinance of Baptism by immersion of water according to Matthew 28:19 and shall be administered to all those who have repented of their sin and who have believed on the Lord Jesus Christ to the saving of their souls and who give clear evidence of their salvation. (Romans 6:3-5; Colossians 2:12) We believe in the ordinance of the Lord’s Supper which shall be observed regularly as enjoined by scriptures. (Luke 22:19-20; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
